Developmental Program · Ages 2–4

    Little Bloomers

A welcoming, play-based developmental program designed to help young children build confidence, communication, connection and participation through meaningful everyday experiences.

A supportive place to play, connect and grow

Little Bloomers is designed for children aged 2–4 who may benefit from additional support with communication, participation, play, regulation, movement or everyday routines.

Young children develop through interaction, movement, exploration and play. Little Bloomers provides opportunities for children to practise these skills in a supportive environment alongside other children.

Activities are designed around children's developmental needs and interests rather than expecting every child to participate in exactly the same way.

What might Little Bloomers look like?

Sessions may include sensory play, movement, music, creative activities, outdoor exploration, shared play, stories, everyday routines and opportunities for children to interact with others.

These experiences can provide natural opportunities to work on communication, coordination, participation, regulation, confidence and independence.

Children are supported at their own developmental level and are not expected to meet a single set of milestones within the program.

    Child-centred

Children are supported according to their individual strengths, communication, developmental needs and interests.

    Play-based

Play and exploration provide meaningful opportunities for children to practise skills in ways that feel natural and engaging.

    Family-focused

Families bring essential knowledge about their child and can help identify the everyday skills and routines that matter most.

    Developmental support alongside allied health

Spriggle Kids brings developmental programs and allied-health services together in one child-focused environment.

Where clinically appropriate and relevant to the individual child's support plan, families may also access services such as occupational therapy, speech pathology, psychology or other supports available through Spriggle Kids.

Participation in Little Bloomers does not mean a child will automatically receive individual therapy during the program. Individual therapy and assessment are provided according to each child's needs, goals and service arrangements.

    Who might Little Bloomers suit?

Little Bloomers may suit families looking for a supportive small-group developmental program for a child aged 2–4.

Children may have identified developmental or disability support needs, may be awaiting further assessment, or families may simply have concerns about areas such as communication, play, participation, regulation or everyday skills.

Our team can talk with families about the program and whether it appears appropriate for their child's individual needs.
